Build the ship. Brave the sea.

An original multiplayer ocean survival game that runs in your web browser. Craft and fit a vessel part by part, survive the islands, and sail a connected sea with your Crew.

Overview

A survival game told by the tide.

You begin with nothing on a Safe Waters starter island. Everything after that — tools, clothes, a camp, a boat — you make yourself.

Wildtide is built for shared, persistent play. Its official PvE and PvP worlds each span four connected ocean regions with eleven islands between them. Survivors, buildings, ships, storage and island claims are saved by the server and carry on through restarts, region crossings and time away.

It is a game in active development. New systems arrive in frequent public releases, and the official roadmap separates what is available today from what is planned.

01 — Sailing & shipbuilding

Every plank fitted by hand.

Craft a frame, lay it in suitable water and fit each crafted part at the hull. Steer a Skiff with its oar, or sail a Sloop or Schooner by wheel, sails and wind — and keep her afloat, because damage lets the sea in.

  • Three vessels: Skiff (5 parts), Sloop (17) and the 19-metre, two-masted Modular Schooner (26)
  • Walkable decks, ladders, sail-hold and an adjustable sailing camera
  • Leaks, flooding, bailing, permanent sinking and salvageable wrecks
  • Shipboard building on the Schooner: walls, doors, railings and stairs

02 — Survival & wildlife

Fed, watered, and wary.

Health, hunger, thirst and stamina all matter. Drink at springs and rivers, cook meat and fish over a fire, dry provisions for long voyages — and watch the treeline.

  • Deer that graze, notice you and bolt; wolves that hunt in packs
  • Lit campfires deter pursuing wolves
  • Shore fishing, cooking, drying racks and waterskins
  • Bow, spear and hatchet combat with server-decided hits

03 — Island exploration

Eleven islands, each its own place.

Tropical beaches, palms and forests, rocky coastlines, rivers and mountains. Two protected starter islands — The First Shore and Sandhaven — open onto nine more waiting to be explored and claimed.

  • Dynamic weather from calm to storm, and a day shared by everyone online
  • Landmarks such as the Old Landing jetty, the Beacon Cairn and Sandhaven Harbour
  • An interactive world map with island locations and ship markers

04 — Building & crafting

From a fire pit to a fortified base.

Gather wood, stone, sticks and fibre, then craft tools, clothing and armour. Raise modular timber buildings with floors, walls, doors, roofs and stairs, and lock them to the people you choose.

  • Crafting for buildings, ships, tools and weapons, clothing and survival
  • Woven and hide clothing, slat armour and a hide backpack
  • Lockable doors, storage boxes, drying racks and personal beds
  • Palisades and double gates outside the Safe Waters

05 — Crews, PvP & island conquest

Plant a flag. Hold the island.

Form a Crew with an Owner, custom ranks and alliances. Outside the protected starter waters, craft a claim flag, capture an island over time and defend it — or contest a rival's.

  • Nine claimable islands beyond the Safe Waters
  • Timed capture with defenders who can reverse it
  • Raiding only during scheduled vulnerability windows
  • Global, Crew and alliance chat

06 — Connected ocean & multiplayer

One sea, seamlessly sailed.

Each official world is four connected ocean regions run by authoritative servers. Sail seamlessly from one to the next; your ship's parts and condition, and your passengers' inventories, cross with you.

  • Independent PvE and PvP worlds with shared sign-in accounts
  • Persistent saves for survivors, buildings, ships, storage and claims
  • Sleepers stay in the world when you log out
